2005 US Classic

Making her international elite debut, Shawn took 3rd in the all around in Virginia Beach, Virginia and qualified to the US National Championships! Showing one of just a couple of DOUBLE TWISTING YURCHENKOS in the junior field, she earned 5th place on vault. Shawn impressed with her difficulty-packed beam set (BACK HANDSPRING, BACK HANDSPRING, TWO FOOT LAYOUT; WOLF JUMP, PUNCH FRONT, BACK TUCK; SWITCH LEAP, LAYOUT STEPOUT, LAYOUT STEPOUT; DOUBLE TUCK DISMOUNT) for a 3rd place finish on the event.
