2005 US National Championship Prelims

At her first ever US National Championships, Shawn wrapped up the first day of competition in Indianapolis, Indiana in 13th place. Shawn was steady on vault and bars, but falls on beam and floor left her with scores in the low 8s. Still, Shawn's placement was enough to keep her in contention for a National Team berth on the 2nd day of competition. Event winners were decided after prelims, leaving Shawn with an impressive 5th place on vault and 10th on bars.
