2006 US Classic

At the 2006 US Classic in Kansas City, Missouri Shawn debuted two new, difficult skills including a FULL IN FULL OUT (commonly called a double double) on floor and a FULL IN DISMOUNT off beam. Shawn completed both of these skills, which were not performed by any other gymnast in the competition, and was solid on vault (DOUBLE TWISTING YURCHENKO) and bars (JAEGER, GIENGER, FULL TWISTING DOUBLE LAYOUT) to earn the title of US Classic All Around Champion.
