GREATER DES MOINES – As a part of its workforce attraction efforts, the Greater Des Moines Partnership has developed a new, interactive online marketing tool featuring US Coach of the Year, Liang Chow and Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson.

This new tool allows individuals to go to www.desmoinesmetro.com and generate a personalized call or e-mail from Chow and Johnson. In the personalized message, Johnson calls the receiver of the message by name and she and Chow talk about “Doing More” in Greater Des Moines.

The message includes variables that the person generating the e-mail or phone call can choose from to customize the message to the person receiving it. The message is meant to be fun and entertaining so that is passed-along – while reinforcing the message that you can “Do More” in Greater Des Moines.

This interactive marketing tool goes live on June 26, on the heels of Johnson securing her place on the US Olympic team. The Partnership is proud of its partnership with Coach Chow and will continue to work with him to tell Greater Des Moines’ story on a national and international stage.
