Shawn Claims Pacific Alliance All-Around Title

Yesterday during the junior women's team and all around competition at the Pacific Alliance Championships Shawn led the US team to first place and took 1st in the all around! Shawn started the meet on vault earning a 15.0 for her DOUBLE TWISTING YURCHENKO. Next she moved to bars where she showed an improved set for a 14.9. Next Shawn went to beam and performed a jammed pack set for a difficulty score of 6.5 and a total score of 15.75. She ended the meet on floor with a hit routine and a 15.35, giving her an all around total of 61.0 to win the meet! Congratulations to Shawn and Team USA for an awesome competition in Hawaii. Shawn has qualified in first place for the vault event final, second on beam, and first on floor. Event finals take place Saturday afternoon so check back here for results. Good luck Shawn!
